Code of Conduct

We promise a small group, a thoughtful itinerary, transparent pricing and real human support before, during and after your trip. We commit to treating every traveller with respect, honesty and care — and to acting quickly if something goes wrong.

Treat fellow travellers, hosts, drivers, guides, hotel staff and locals with kindness and respect at all times. Discrimination, harassment, bullying or unwelcome comments about race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, body, ability or background are not tolerated on any trip.

Consent matters. Ask before you photograph someone, before you touch someone, and before you share their story. A no is a full sentence.

We travel as guests. Follow local customs, dress codes at religious and traditional sites, and any instructions given by your host or local guides. Leave places as you found them — better if you can. Do not remove artefacts, damage wildlife or interact with animals in ways your host advises against.

Trips run to a shared schedule. Please be on time for pickups, meals and activities so the group isn’t held up. If you decide to skip an activity, let your host know in advance. Look after your fellow travellers — check in on people, share the space, and speak up early if something feels off.

Enjoy the trip, but stay in control. Excessive drinking, illegal drug use, or behaviour that puts yourself, the group or the host at risk is not acceptable. Follow local laws at all times — laws around alcohol, drugs, public behaviour and photography vary widely between countries.

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. You are responsible for declaring any medical conditions or dietary requirements that could affect your safety on the trip.

Share your trip proudly, but never post identifiable photos or videos of fellow travellers, hosts or locals without their permission. Tag Adventure After 30 if you like — we love seeing your adventures.

If something happens on a trip that doesn’t feel right — to you or to someone else — please tell your host straight away, or contact us privately at hello@adventureafter30.com. You can raise a concern in confidence, and we will take it seriously.

Serious breaches of this Code — including harassment, violence, illegal behaviour or behaviour that endangers others — may result in you being asked to leave the trip immediately, at your own expense and without refund. Where the law requires it, we may also report incidents to the local authorities.
